Confirming its partnership and cooperation with SAIPEM SPA, BK STRUTTURE is going to cooperate for FINAL FEED preparation offer of civil and structural engineering activities for HAIL & GASHA PCKG 2 & 4 – ADNOC - ABU DHABI (UAE)
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is planning the development of a major oil and gas field in Abu Dhabi. The Hail and Ghasha Development has been divided into several packages.
The package 2 & 4 focuses respectively on building the Ghasha offshore and onshore gas processing plant.
Even prior to the Covid-19 pandemic impacting industry activity, Adnoc is understood to have extended the Hail and Ghasha project schedule, considering the massive size, scope and strategic value of the scheme.
The project is an integral part of ADNOC’s 2030 Smart Growth Master Plan, which was approved by the Supreme Petroleum Council in November 2016.
The growth strategy focuses on unlocking and extracting maximum value from the available gas reserves in Abu Dhabi. It also aims to achieve gas self-sufficiency and transform the nation into a net exporter of gas.
ADNOC proposes to create an ultra-sour gas hub in the region with the addition of Ghasha concession fields to the existing Shah Arab reservoir.
With the Hail and Ghasha sour gas scheme, Adnoc Sour Gas intends to produce another 1 billion cubic feet a day of sour gas by 2024.
US-headquartered Bechtel is doing the front-end engineering and design (feed) works on the project, while US-based KBR is the overall project management consultant.
BK STRUTTURE engineers will support engineering team of SAIPEM SPA to develop the commercial bids preparation for civil and structural engineering activities.
