GT STRUDL
by Intergraph Corporation
GTSTRUDL is a structural & civil design software
- The GTSTRUDL General Module includes:
- Basic Program
- Advanced Analysis
- Dynamic Analysis
- Steel Design
- Reinforced Concrete Design
Basic Program includes:
Automatic mesh generation, general input/ output, and GTTABLE.
Frame and finite element static analysis with each material and in each country the structure is, including U.S., British Standard BS, European (including the Eurocodes), Nordic, Indian, and Asian codes CAD Modeler allows to graphically create the model in AutoCAD and then create a GT STRUDL input file.
GTSMenu is a graphical user interface and includes special frame and finite element structural modeling capabilities including menu based selections, graphic construction of models, integration of graphics and structural data base, and display of results such as deformed shape, force diagrams, stress contours, and steel code checks.
Data Base Exchange (DBX) has capabilities to specify and to write GT STRUDL geometry, property and results data to separate files.
Advanced Analysis includes:
All nonlinear analysis capabilities including large sag cables, tension/compression only members, nonlinear support springs, plastic hinges and pushover analysis, as well as the linear super-element and member elastic and nonlinear end connection features.
Dynamic Analysis includes:
All eigensolvers and all response spectrum earthquake, time history transient dynamic analysis, harmonic analysis, and other dynamic analysis facilities.
Steel Design includes:
Steel member selection by the AISC, ASCE, ASME (NF), British Standards, EC3, Canadian, and Indian code checking procedures, parameter and constraint processing, design smoothing, and summary output.
Reinforced Concrete Design includes:
Reinforced concrete design and code checking procedures by ACI and British Standard codes, member proportioning, parameter and constraint processing, P-DELTA analysis, and detailed output.
Processor Solver
GTSTRUDL has Processor Solver (GT64M) with 64-bit static analysis and eigenvalue analysis solver which takes advantage of multiple processors.
The 64-bit solver also takes advantage of the large virtual addressing on 64-bit operating systems enabling the solution of very large models.
